When this option is on, the sliders will product a result more consistant through Kaleidoscope 1.5 schemes. Turning the option off will descrease the speed of the sliders, but more produce better visual results.
24-bit
This option sets the default editting mode of Designer's Studio to 24-bit.
16-bit
This option sets the default editting mode of Designer's Studio to 16-bit.
8-bit
This option sets the default editting mode of Designer's Studio to 8-bit.
Sets the destination of preview pictures taken with the camera. Select this radio button to send the pictures to a PICT clipping.
When this is checked, tool tips will show up when you pause over something supporting them long enough. Why you窶囘 want these things on when you窶况e got this great balloon help is beyond me, but just in case...
When this is checked, all the editors in DS will have grid lines between the pixels. When editing in color, this is really a pain in the eyes, but in Black and White, it窶冱 much better.

When this is checked, the magnifying glass will have hex numbers in it's display. Hex numbers are useful when you are making a web page, or editing a dctb or atcb with ResEdit.
When this is checked, the magnifying glass will have big numbers in it's display. Big numbers range from 0 to 65355. The default (little numbers) range from 0 to 255. The big numbers give a more precise color value than the small numbers.
Check this option to put a set of crosshairs in the Magnifying Glass. These indicate the exact position of the mouse.
Set the number of undos remembered by DS. The higher the number the more memory will by used by the undo feature. Setting this to zero will turn undos off.
